FINAL THOUGHTS

Traveling across the country on a motorcycle is a unique experience. You are directly exposed to the sights, sounds, smells and weather. It gives you a whole new perspective on this great land. It is not a trip for everyone, but I feel very fortunate that I was able to experience it with my brother Greg.

There are a number of people I need to thank for making this trip possible.
Our 3 biggest supporters who were behind us from the beginning:
My wife Paige, Greg's wife Dana and our mother, Marjorie Clark. I think Mom was more excited than we were!

The 2 BMW dealerships (Big Twin BMW in Boise ID. and Bak BMW in Sioux City IA.)  who worked on my bike and got us on our way in less than an hour so we could stay on schedule.

The person who I need to thank the most is my brother Greg. He made this trip possible. He did all the planning. He made all the reservations. He found BMW dealers and called ahead to have my bike repaired. He put up with me not being the skilled rider that he is. And he coached me on driving the mountain roads. Thank you Greg for making this the trip of a lifetime.

One last thought......Greg mentioned my snoring a few times on this site. It is more accurately called my Bear Abatement Program. Not once during this trip were we bothered by bears.
