Day 13

Today we traveled from Greg's home in Carmel, IN to Clarksburg/Bridgeport, WV. We had light rain in the morning and mid 80s with sun in the afternoon. There was a lot of rain in the midwest but we stayed south of it. We took I-70 to Route 35 then Route 52 in SE Ohio and WV which was a pretty road that wound it's way through rolling green hills. It had some fun wide sweeping 70 mph turns. It will be the last of the twisty roads for Greg to enjoy. Tomorrow is all interstate travel to Grambills, MD to return the bikes to Eaglerider.

DAY 14  -  Final Day  -  4200 miles behind us!!

Day 14 started out in a light rain which quickly stopped after we were 10 miles down the road. We hit other light showers, but they did not slow us down. We started out at 6:30 AM because we wanted  to make sure we were at the Eagle Rider drop off location in Crofton (Baltimore Md.)  before our transportation  to the airport arrived. We made it by 12:00. We then had to pack all our gear in Army duffel bags for the trip home. Greg's shuttle arrived first and mine arrived an hour later. Long story short, my plane was over 2 hours late and I didn't get home in Florida until after 12:00 AM.
I want to thank everyone who followed us on our Bucket List Tour. It has been a great adventure. There will be one more page on this website, it will be our final thoughts on this trip.
