First let me say that today (May, 29) is the first time we have had Internet.
Well we have been on the road for 2 eventful days. It started with us going over the Bay Bridge by mistake and ending up in Oakland and seperated! Thank God for cell phones and a great BMW rider coming to our rescue. I made contact with Greg and met him at the Bay Bridge toll booth going back into San Francisco. Only 1 hour shot to hell. On to the Golden Gate Bridge......with everyone else in San Francisco. It was stop and go traffic for 10 miles past the bridge, but we were headed in the right direction. We followed the Pacific Coast highway up to our B&B in Mendocino. It was a 9 hour trip. It would have been 3 if the road had been straight! No pictures of the drive. It was tough enough making all the turns let alone taking pictures! Pictures of the B&B are below. Today we left Mendocino and took Route 20 to I-5 and on to Redding. It was a 6 hour drive. Lots of twisties as Greg calls them. He is very good at them. I just plug along and he waits for me every 5 or 6 miles. We had a deer cross in front of us but he made it to the other side and didn't have any friends. Tomorrow we are on to Crater Lake. It will Be another 6 hour ride and it looks like rain.
Sunday morning, our gear out front of Eaglerider waiting for them to open.
